"Step Up To Fashion" is our motto at Nicky Shoe Company. We bring to Hawaii hip and cutting edge women's shoes found on the fashion runways, all at a reasonable price. We want women here to have access to the same styles and quality of shoes found on the streets of Paris, London, Tokyo, Milan, New York and Los Angeles.
Thao ‘Nicky’ McGill previously owned a popular wholesale shoe outlet in the largest wholesale market in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Her experience in selling to a broad national and international clientele prepped her for the task of brining to Hawaii a one of a kind shoe shopping experience where the customer is always right and always happy! To bring our product to our stores we work very closely with some of the same manufacturers that high-end designers around the world use. We are fully involved in the design process and we create one-of-a-kind footwear you can't find elsewhere. Our goal is to provide quality shoes yet still keep prices fairly low. Women deserve to have as many shoes as their closet can hold.
We opened the only "boutique-style" shoe store in Hawaii in July of 2005. Our second store at Aloha tower Marketplace was opened in 2006 and we are very excited to have Kahala Mall as the home of our 3rd location. We thoroughly research our customer market to make sure that each store is representative of the clientele that will visit. For this reason we are certain the residents of Kahal and East Oahu will be delighted in the approach we took with the store design as well as a hand picked selection of the finest styles our vendors offer.
From casual sandals and flats to dressy boots and sexy high heels, our own line of women's shoes ranges from $30 to $70. We can confidently boast that 90% of our shoes are manufactured in Italy and Brazil using only the best materials and craftsmanship. The quality of the shoe we sell is just as important to us as the price the customer is willing to pay. We also carry baby shoes for boys and girls, priced between $10 to $20 and our own line of handbags.
Our brightly colored stores provide a fun and enjoyable shopping experience for women of all ages. You can't miss Nicky's huge mirror that covers an entire wall of the store. Customers come in all dressed up and try our shoe to see how they look with their outfit. Women need to see how great they look walking with our shoes!
